Invoicing

One consolidated monthly invoice for all your AWS accounts, in EUR, with your conditions applied.

Instead of raw AWS billing, you receive one invoice from Wring each month covering all your connected accounts — the result of moving your billing to Wring.

How your invoice is built

Every invoice goes through the same four steps:

  1. Aggregate — your actual AWS usage for the month is aggregated from the daily-synced cost data, per account and per service.
  2. Apply conditions — your negotiated pricing and volume discounts are applied. Volume discounts scale with your monthly spend, so growth is rewarded automatically.
  3. Apply credits — credits on your Wring account (promotional, refunds, prepaid balance) reduce the amount, always oldest first, until they are used up. Remaining balances carry over.
  4. Issue — the invoice is generated at the start of the following month and sent to your billing contacts.

Reading your invoice

  • Currency: invoices are issued in EUR. AWS reports usage in USD; the conversion happens at the exchange rate applied at generation time and is stated on the invoice.
  • Itemization: usage, discounts, and credits are listed separately, so you can reconcile every position against the cost insights in your dashboard — both come from the same data.
  • Multiple accounts: all connected accounts appear on the same invoice, broken down individually.

Interim invoices

If you need an invoice for a partial period — for example at the end of a budget year, or before a company change — your Wring contact can issue an interim invoice covering usage up to a specific date. Write to [email protected].

Paying it

Payment terms, your first month, and what to do when something looks off are covered in Paying Your Invoice.

Where the numbers come from

Invoice amounts are computed from the same synced AWS cost data that powers your dashboard — not from estimates. If you ever see a difference between dashboard and invoice, the usual cause is timing (AWS finalizes usage data a few days into the new month); the invoice always reflects the finalized month.
