Paying Your Invoice

When your invoice arrives, how to pay it, and what your first month looks like.

When your invoice arrives

Your consolidated invoice is generated at the start of each month for the previous month, once AWS has finalized the usage data — see Invoicing for how the amount is built. It goes to your billing contacts by email.

Payment terms

  • Currency: EUR (the USD→EUR conversion is stated on the invoice)
  • Payment term: payable within 7 days of the invoice date
  • Payment method: bank transfer, using the account details on the invoice

Need different billing contacts, a PO reference on the invoice, or similar? Tell us once at [email protected] and it's set for future invoices.

Your first month

The billing transfer takes effect on the first day of a month. That makes the cut clean:

  • Usage before the start month is still billed by AWS directly, on your final AWS invoice.
  • Usage from the start month on appears on your Wring invoice.

There is no overlap and no double billing — each day of usage is billed by exactly one party.

"Why did I get an invoice from AWS?"

The most common reason: it covers usage from before your transfer started — AWS issues its final direct invoice for the last month it billed you. If you receive an unexpected AWS invoice for a period after your transfer began, forward it to [email protected] and we'll trace it against your synced usage data.

Something looks wrong

If a position on a Wring invoice doesn't match your expectations, don't sit on it: write to [email protected] with the invoice number. Your dashboard's cost insights show the same underlying data your invoice was computed from, so discrepancies are quick to trace — usually it's AWS's late usage finalization, occasionally it's something we need to fix. Either way you get an answer, not a ticket number.
